Point Blank Tequila — the bold, new 100 percent additive-free tequila that just dropped in Total Wine stores across Texas — is partnering with NASCAR driver Sage Karam during the highly anticipated race weekend at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin.
Point Blank will be featured on Karam’s Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen No. 55 car as he takes the green flag in the Focused Health 250 at 2 p.m. on Saturday — uniting two brands built on precision, performance, and passion.
Karam will battle for 65 laps around the COTA road course, one of NASCAR’s most technical and demanding circuits. Known for its steep uphill charge into Turn 1 and sweeping S-shaped corners, COTA provides the perfect backdrop for teams committed to excellence at every turn.
“Nothing at COTA comes easy,” said Karam, who drives for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen. “You have to put in the work, stay disciplined, and when the moment comes, you have to take it. You earn everything out there. I’m excited to partner with Point Blank, a bold, new tequila that also isn’t afraid to take chances.”

Point Blank Tequila is rapidly emerging as a force in the premium spirits space, fueled by its commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship, and sustainability. Aligning with Karam, one of NASCAR’s most fearless competitors, in Austin further solidifies Point Blank’s presence in Texas and its growing momentum nationwide.
“Performance matters — whether you’re racing at COTA or crafting a premium, unapologetically authentic tequila,” said Andrew Summersett, founder of Point Blank Tequila. “We’re excited to partner with a team that races the way we make tequila — the hard way, the honest way, but bold enough to stand out in a competitive field.”

The partnership between Karam and Point Blank Tequila extends beyond the race track this weekend.
On Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Karam will be at Total Wine, 1201 Barbara Jordan Blvd., in Austin for a special meet-and-greet, giving fans the opportunity to connect with both the driver and Point Blank Tequila. Summersett will also be on hand, pouring Point Blank’s three expressions.
This collaboration reflects Point Blank Tequila’s continued commitment to building real connections with people who value authenticity.
“For Point Blank Tequila, this partnership is about more than putting our logo on a car,” Summersett said. “It’s about aligning with people who believe in hard work, preparation, and earning every result. That’s how we craft our tequila, and that’s how Sage competes.”
In celebration of the partnership, Point Blank Tequila shared a message to Karam:
“Sage — Stay focused. Stay fearless. Stay relentless. And most of all, stay true.”

Authenticity is the foundation of Point Blank Tequila. All three expressions — Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo — are crafted from mountain-grown Blue Weber agave in San Juanito de Escobedo, Jalisco, the birthplace of tequila.
Each agave plant is grown organically at Destiladora Agave Azul, a family-owned plantation and distillery that blends generations of tradition with innovative sustainability. The agave is hand-harvested at peak maturity by skilled jimadores, slow-roasted in traditional ovens, naturally fermented, and double-distilled for absolute purity.
Each step of the process is overseen by Zandra Gómez Santiago, Point Blank’s award-winning master distiller and a trailblazer in the male-dominated tequila industry. She ensures that every bottle meets the highest standards. No additives. No shortcuts. No compromises.
“Excellence isn’t accidental,” Summersett said. “It’s earned.”
